In cybersecurity sector only around 20% are women, and it is important to find ways to increase participation of female experts in cybersecurity and use untapped potential.

Only 35% of girls decide for education in STEM and only 1/5 of them end in tech field. In order to improve their prospects, continuous support is needed. Good examples are W4C mentorship program (7 mentor-mentee pairs in Serbia) and through W4C engagement as youth ambassadors (2 female professionals from Serbia).
